This Privacy Policy explains how Tip Splitter ("the app", "we", "our") handles information when you use the app. We built Tip Splitter to be a simple, offline calculator, and this policy reflects that.
Tip Splitter does not require an account, and it does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.

This information is saved locally on your device using standard Android storage (SharedPreferences) so your last calculation can be restored the next time you open the app. It never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or to any third party.
Tip Splitter does not request access to your camera, contacts, location, storage, microphone, or any other device permission beyond what is required to run the app itself.
We do not sell, rent, or share any information with third parties, because the app does not collect any information that could be shared. Tip Splitter does not use analytics SDKs, tracking libraries, or any third-party data-collection tools.
Tip Splitter is a general-purpose calculator tool and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the app stores data only on-device, no personal information about any user, of any age, is ever collected by us.
Because all data stays on your device and is never transmitted, there is no server-side storage for us to secure. You can remove all saved data at any time by clearing the app's storage/data from your device settings or by uninstalling the app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
